Int is a Dump Stat

Today I totally missed out in a session of Dungeons & Dragons with Twitter friends because I can’t tell the difference between an “A” and a “P”. I missed the party… and the party, by about 12 hours. Luckily it seemed to go fine without me… which almost makes me feel worse. :P

My group of friends that I introduced to D&D finished the Keep on the Shadowfell campaign yesterday, and I can say honestly that I got this weird sense of pride that I can only compare to the feeling I get when I finish a piece of art that I’m really proud of. I feel truly lucky to have so many friends with such great imaginations. Their philosophy is, “Yeah, but if I roll a 20, I can totally do it.”

By the way, if you haven’t already seen this movie, you are missing out.

WATCH THIS PLEASE!

With the same group of friends I went to go see Inception, and I hate spoilers, so I won’t give any, but I do have to make an apology. One of my friends, Angie, said that Christopher Nolan was a genius, and I replied, “I hate it when people say that directors are geniuses, you do know that there are actual geniuses, right?”

I completely retract my statement, Christopher Nolan is a genius. I’ll be surprised if Inception doesn’t win every award under the sun. So, I’m sorry, Angie! You were right!

By the way, if you are into D&D, or if you want to see some of my art, check out my father website http://at-will.omnivangelist.net/ I drew the image Here.
