I hate to interrupt Jason and the Argonauts, but I saw this at work today, and it created itself.

I wish I had a camera to take a picture of this scene: pretty little bird houses on stands and hung in the trees, accented by a huge, scowling Great Horned Owl. I think my explanation is viable, although Meredith suggested that the same goal could be accomplished by simply filling the holes in the birdhouses. Oh well.

Today I totally missed out in a session of Dungeons & Dragons with Twitter friends because I can’t tell the difference between an “A” and a “P”. I missed the party… and the party, by about 12 hours. Luckily it seemed to go fine without me… which almost makes me feel worse.

My group of friends that I introduced to D&D finished the Keep on the Shadowfell campaign yesterday, and I can say honestly that I got this weird sense of pride that I can only compare to the feeling I get when I finish a piece of art that I’m really proud of. I feel truly lucky to have so many friends with such great imaginations. Their philosophy is, “Yeah, but if I roll a 20, I can totally do it.”

By the way, if you haven’t already seen this movie, you are missing out.

With the same group of friends I went to go see Inception, and I hate spoilers, so I won’t give any, but I do have to make an apology. One of my friends, Angie, said that Christopher Nolan was a genius, and I replied, “I hate it when people say that directors are geniuses, you do know that there are actual geniuses, right?”

I completely retract my statement, Christopher Nolan is a genius. I’ll be surprised if Inception doesn’t win every award under the sun. So, I’m sorry, Angie! You were right!

I was eating a delicious avocado last week, and I thought, wow, this is amazing. Then I watched this video here and totally laughed my head off at how much this guy was digging these two rainbows. How great it is to be passionate about something.

And this song has been stuck in my head all week.

Oh man, the TLC show “Cake Boss” drives me crazy. Everyone yelling at each other and constantly pulling pranks… I guess bakers that act like the Flintstones make for good television.

Tonight’s episode involved an Egyptian themed cake, and the pronunciation was the funniest thing ever. I will admit that someone did correct him when he said “hydro-glyphics”, but no one corrected “spinxes”. They also made a hearse, which Buddy kept calling a “hurst”. Classic stuff.

Nice to be able to update the comic again. What are your favorite TV shows to make fun of?

I ordered something on Amazon a few weeks ago, and now I’m wishing I would have paid the five bucks to get it in the same month. I guess I should have expected it, but whatever.

I’m experimenting with some new coloring styles. Let me know what you think of this one!

Good news, everyone! I’m alive!

I really am sorry for the serious lack of comic. My computer had a crisis over the past few weeks, but now Old Reliable seems to be as fit as a fiddle. Turns out that if you put your computer under a desk, it tends to binge on dust bunnies and die of heat stroke ever 2 hours or so.

I’ve been working on a lot of commissions lately, which is great! The bad side is that things like eXtra Precious take a back seat, since I do them just for fun and totally out of my own time. For free.

Now that school’s out, my schedule is a little more “mine” now, so you should expect some more eXtra Precious on a more regular basis.

Thanks for sticking with me! And if you’re on twitter or you’re waiting for a commission, thanks for putting up with my computer whining and seeming apathy about your needs. This guy is back on the ball.

Sorry everybody, I’ll be ready to roll at full power in a week or so.

Everyone in school right now can sympathize, I’m sure.

When you run out of time while you’re studying for final exams, you start buying greasy fast food and stressing out. This is a recipe for facial disaster. Think I’m lying? Go look in the mirror or look around on campus.

Here’s hoping that everyone passes their classes and gets a break soon!
